Comments:

The equipment was prepared and in good condition weeks before ctest. However,
the operator got in Friday a serious flu. Great amount of neglect was needed to
place myself into the chair at THE ctest start and throughout the Saturday to
keep the voice. Much better in Sunday.

Appart of this, the weather conditions in Saturday resulted in decent wind,
rain, as well as some storms. The QRN was not too severe and rather of short
duration.

On the band conditions were interesting. Instead of some just short ctest start
after 0.00 GMT toward the west, conditions were unexpectedly reasonable to the
east. Not a lot, but still 80 qso's and 25dxcc were in log during first two
hours, all east.

In the Saturday afternoon, the path to NA was reasonable, but the QRN was steady
at near 59 to 59+10 rock solid, without noticeably clear holes over the band.
Same or even worse the second day, meaning that was not able to keep a clear
frequency for running. Excuse to those callers, who were not heard on this side.
The exception is one hour or so in Saturday evening with a very clear spot.

Some bright spots during both days include several callers from KH6 over the
south pole, looks like routine qso's to KL over the noth, always great LP
signals from VK/ZL, exceptionaly lots of contacts with TF/zone 40(6), nice
contact with FK4QX having extreme signal via LP and several other mults for whom
I was strungling, but they called me later on their own. Zone 10 was chased, but
finally not worked.

Thanks for all the contacts,
Marko, S50K
