Comments:

No matter the condx, we had a great time! The team was outstanding and everyone
pulled their weight.

One of the most enjoyable parts was the horse-race between N1MM team and us. The
race was on the online scoreboard. Each team lead several times and it was back
and forth for most of the time until the last 12 hours or so when we pulled
ahead. We exchanged emails with N1MM and suggested that they needed a break.
There was a Halloween party at their local bar that we thought they would enjoy!
I am both our teams put in a good effort watching the scores.

Friday night is always tough for us and we just kept at it. Saturday morning was
much better and 20m opened early and we were able to run for several hours. 15m
soon opened and we were also able to run. Unfortunately, this did not repeat on
Sunday morning. 20m was very crowded because 15m was not open very well.
However, we again just made the most of it. 10m opened Saturday afternoon to the
SE for a short time. This did not happen on Sunday. Bands seemed quiet and we
could hear many stations that had a hard time copying us. The QRM and QRN must
be awful in some locations.

Food was outstanding. Every team member brings something and it is food buffet
24/7. Brats on the grill and chili from the local firemen's supper were part of
the menu. We also enjoyed 27 innings of baseball and many football games.

Murphy was always around but no show stoppers. We are testing some gear and
software and expect some glitches.

Thanks for all of the QSOs and polite interactions. We once were calling CQ to
the west and did not hear a BIG station on the same frequency until we
switched antennas! Quick apology and nothing bad was said. It was tough finding
CQ frequencies and some luck was involved in wedging in and hoping a stronger
station would not snuggle in and take the frequency.

73, Craig K9CT
