Comments:

Aurora was hovering above 30 gigawatts Hemisphere Power, 
and playing its geomagnetic tricks. Not a single response 
on CQ CWT on 14 MHz, but a nice surprise was 4U1ITU. Skip 
distance was at 2000 km, and attenuation high. LP was not 
enough to reach everyone heard. The only audible Stateside 
was Howie N4AF... Checked 7 MHz at 1340Z and found a wide 
pulse radar covering most of the CWT window. Heard SM7IUN 
with a strong CQ, but did not manage to prepare the TX-side 
for outgoing signals... Returned at 1356Z and got some Q's, 
but not sure if Helga IN3FHE called me or someone else in
