Comments:

Although this is probably my *VERY* favorite QSO party due to the number of
great mobiles and number of counties they can run. (Can't forget the numerous
louder home stns), I just can't do it justice in a low sunspot year from this
far away.

It's a 1½ band contest. 20m nearly open the whole time and 40 roughly ½ the
time. No 10 or 15. I had other responsibilities this year as well, so only a 7
hour effort.

I feel compelled to offer some friendly advice to one mobile, who was running at
a nice clip and often had a hoard calling him, to please shorten your thank-you
message. (I'll just make up a callsign for my example, below)
(PILEUP calls)
MOBILE: (fake callsign), AA4AA sends: VE9AA 5NN PIN
VE9AA: 5NN NB
AA4AA: TU QRZ DE AA4AA

May I suggest a simple "TU" or even just a "T" or a
"dit-dit" ? (a couple mobiles were doing this...N4TO comes to mind,
wtg)

There is absolutely no reason to send "TU QRZ DE AA4AA" every single
time when you have 20 or 30 stns calling you. You probably could've worked
25-30% more stns if you hadn't sent this after every Q.

Lotsa great mobiles....the ones in my log most often.....N4TO, AD4EB, AD4ES,
KN4Y, K8MR, N4CW, K2CIB, K4OJ, KU8E, N4FP, N4TO & last but certainly not
least... K4KG (K5KG in disguise) I couldn't work Geo on SSB on Sat as no mic
hooked up, but Sunday I hooked it up and sho 'nuff he asked me again for SSB
which I did (hi!)

Really great job by all.

Lotta fun. Bring back the sunspots ! !

CU (all of a sudden) in the next one

2 x Ic7410 & wire 4-squares.

Mike VE9AA "NB"
