Comments:

Friday night and Saturday quite good. Lots of activity and stations easy to
work. Conditions had gone poor on Sunday morning. The high point of the contest
was working KL7SB at 16:08 local time on Saturday. That's a hard one from  here.
The path was open for no more than 5 minutes and the op at KL7 has great ears !
Gremlins hit at 0500 Sunday when amplifier kept tripping on high SWR. Heavy
winds and rain outside so went out in boots and dressing gown (we've all done
that!) in the dark and rain to find the problem. Found that tower halyard had
loosened allowing wire element to get near the tower. The detuning caused the
varying SWR as the wind blew. Equipment - TS890S and Orion 2. Expert 2K. Inv-L
with 68ft vertical section. RX 650ft terminated Beverage.
