Comments:

I was currently without a 160m antenna and wanted to work this contest. I put a
crooked 160m dipole at about 25' and a small loop-on-ground (LOG) at the
suggestion of some friends. The LOG did a great job. While I was able to hear
most stations with either antennas, the reduced noise on the LOG just made it
enjoyable to listen. The noise-level on the dipole would have made this very
difficult to endure.
