Comments:
Managed 24 hours on time. A lot of those hours were very slow though. Sunday
afternoon was poor -- lots of stations, few mults.
The first night was by far the better of the two overnight shifts. The second
night seemed few stations made it to 80M and 40M was vacant very early.
Morning opening to Europe on Saturday was bleak but a little better Sunday --
had to be on early before dawn to catch the beginning of it. Without a real
opening to Europe, the prefix count remained very sub-par here and you can't
counter that with domestic rate.
Surprised by the numbers on 15M. Last year had just one QSO on that band, but I
knew it would be a little more productive this weekend.
The IC-7610 and Acom 1000 pair worked like champs. Used the FT-2000 for
low-power second radio on 40M and 80M when things got slow.
About the same result as in 2009 with high power. Had a higher score running low
power in 2010 in the same amount of time. Conditions will get better.
