Comments:
I guess I had a 15m fire hose or something. For the first two hours rate on 15
was fully half of 20 before 15 shut down. I kept trying to move mults there but
to only little avail. 20 shut down early but 40 and 80 woke up early,
fortunately.
80 was really hopping this time with signals coming in clear. This might be my
best 80 total ever for NAQP. I suspect 80 was so good that 40 suffered for it -
40 just cleared right out. Signals were completely crammed between 3580 and 3600
- stupid 3600 barrier - such that finding a clear spot was almost impossible.
Parking below 3570 made more sense.
2 Qs on 10 were locals of course, only 5 bander was NV; the Sierra Nevada being
too much of a barrier to get a CA in the log. I started the contest 12 minutes
late in a successful effort - thank you, checklists - to get the 3rd rig back
online (it had been out for repair) and used it to snag those 2 Qs.
Thanks to all who did move between 15 and 20, and 40 and 80! And thanks to Tom
and Midge for the hospitality and the yummy pork chop. ;)
