Comments:

Interesting contest with many slow hours and a few hours with nice QSO rates.
All but one QSO were made with 100W from an IC-7300.

Scheduled rolling power blackouts ("load shedding") made the period
leading up to the contest interesting but we enjoyed continuous power during the
entire 48 hour contest period. Also, the predicted thunderstorms luckily did not
materialize.

Conditions were mixed. 15m opened the first day for 90 minutes but was sketchy
on Sunday. 20m was the money band with the best opening occurring on Sunday
evening, yielding 305 QSOs in 120 minutes before shutting down abruptly. During
most of the day, however, when the propagation forecast predicted good
conditions, the band was only marginally open. 40m was better than in CQWW and
the low, partially folded 80m dipole allowed for some multipliers as far as CA
and MT (fantastic ears, Pat!) on the grey line with 100W despite an S9 QRN level
on that band.
