Comments:

the wind blew my dipoles down a few days back. I threw a rope up abt 20 ft just
to get the wires off the gnd. it loaded just fine & I seemed to be making
quite a few Qs. But when I got down to some serious CQing abt 30 mins into the
contest I decided to ck my pwr. Yup, 5w leftover from the fox hunt. So, do I
leave it at 5w & continue OR have my usual fun CQing. I decided on the
latter.
In retrospect, I wish I had stayed QRP. I did have abt 1 Q per min at the half
way mark. I know I cudn't keep that rate up ... but still I'm now curious how
many Qs I cud have gotten. my hat is off to the QRP guys!
