Comments:

Saturday was the NAQP SSB, so I didn't start here until Sunday
morning. And my 2M yagi had an elevated SWR -- apparently due to
the snowstorm as it's fine today, so I could only push 25W into it.

My second best Jan VHF since 2003. (Last year was a bit better.)
6M was my best band, mostly due to FT8. 2M and 70cm seemed to be
very sparse, I assume due to FT8. (The few stations found on 2 & 432
were very happy to move to all 3 bands.)

This reminded me of a June VHF when there is GOOD e-Skip on 6, with
FT8 taking the place of e-Skip. Most hams move to 6 when that happens
too. I don't necessarily like FT8 for contesting as it's slow and
very "mechanical." But my contest "juices" almost force me
to use it.

Here is the breakdown by mode:
Band CW Phone FT8
 ---- -- ----- ---
    6 1 16 41
    2 0 15 0
   70 0 8 0

Rig: TS2000
BIC: 5.5 hours
Antennas: 6M -- HB 7 el at 10M (ARRL Antenna Book)
          2M -- 12el K1FO at 12M (K1WHS kit)
          70cm -- M^2 440-18 up at 11M
Log: N3FJP's VHF Contest Log Ver. 6.3
          [with JTAlert 2.12.10 for FT8]
