Comments:

Using only one-half on an 80m dipole loaded through an antenna tuner at 150
watts (higher power caused RFI mischief), I made as many contacts for the PVRC
as my weak signal would allow, all via S&P, of course. Basically, my
operational area was the east coast to the Mississippi. 

As others have said, band conditions seemed better--longer--Saturday night than
Friday. More EU stations were heard then, and about a dozen in the Caribbean.
