Comments:

This was a half time effort as I had to get the Club newsletter out. Very noisy

conditions (constant static crashes and atmospherics), it was very exhausting. 
I found a solution on 40M by accident - I turned the beam to Asia. The QRN was
much lower and I could work stateside stations much easier with the improved 
S/N ratio. I did take a lot of time to work with the K3 noise reduction options
but the main solution was riding the RF gain way down.
	
One unusual contact. Whoever the station is at 5T5PA must have the patience of
Job. I was working through the QRN on 40M pointed east. 5T5PA must tried for 5
minutes to work me (even as I was working others) before his call finally popped
through. 
	
Guess I missed the openings to Europe but never heard EU on a single band except
for a Spanish HQ station.
	
Way down from last years 2000 Q's.
