Club: Central Texas DX and Contest Club

Comments:

N5NYM and I are in the process of putting up a 50 foot tower in his back yard in
Port Lavaca, TX to support a SteppIR DB-18.  While waiting for that to be
accomplished we put up a 40 foot push up mast and attached a G5RV to the top of
it.  I was curious as to how well the location would work.  I was pleased with
it and am looking forward to our getting up a rotatable antenna with some gain.
