Comments:

By some miracle all of my antennas, including the intermittent ones, worked
perfectly this weekend. Too bad the ionosphere was disconnected. What was
planned as a casual part time effort turned into a series of brief forays into
the shack to see if I could work anything at all. Running was difficult on 20
since I could only hold a frequency for a few minutes, and running elsewhere,
even 40, was unproductive. But with S&P I rapidly ran out of stations to
work in the poor conditions. I did find some unintentional humour when a couple
of Europeans ops on 20m asked me to move to 15m for them. I wish.
