Comments:

With a dipole at 40' and 600W this contest was demoralizing. Probably only 3
hours of actual op-time, although I did check propagation many times throughout
the weekend thinking "It has to improve!" It never did. Called many
stations who were S5 that I couldn't even get a "QRZ?" out of. Thank
you to those who could hear me. With a steadily increasing noise floor and
conditions like this, I may need to find a new hobby. 73, Pat
