Comments:

Evan, Denis and Maurice ran this contest at ve6fi.  It was hard slugging. We
were chatting and having coffee before we realized the contest had started for
15 minutes already.  That did not seem to matter as it took me 30 minutes before
I made the first contact on 40m.  Tough going.  If you look at our score almost
every second contact was a new country.  We sure were not 'running' and we were
there all the time.

On the first 24 hrs we had to forget about Europe.  We contacted some Europeans
at Grey line so that was nice. We also had a bit of a run on JA's on 20 meters
in the late afternoons.  Our 40m rotatable beam was not operational so it was
not possible to work much into Asia except on the rear of the 3 element 40m
beam.
We did not break anything except for one bad connector on the 80m set up (but it
was inside)
