Comments:

Running LP meant that on 14 MHz I could reach 
only half of the USA stations I heard. It was 
already too late in the day for Canada. The 
over-long (tall) vertical is actually low on 
received noise when compared with the 2-el 
yagi over the metal roof (did not use the 2-el
at all tonight; it hang low and fixed SW)... 
Half of the QSO's were on 80/40 m, good signals!
