I now officially declare the sunspot minimum has been reached. 
No JAs were heard or worked in this contest on any band. 
European contacts were down another 15%.  Didn't work enough
extra USA stations to make up for the loss in multipliers, either.
And the Oceania contacts outnumbered the South American ones
for the first time, too.

I had dozens of stations respond to my CQs with just their 
suffixes or even portiions of their suffixes. Did I miss the
memo on the new operating procedures for USA stations? And
this a CW contest! Will "please copy" be next on CW?

There were also a significant number of stations whose first
letter was truncated at the leading edge, presumably by the
timing of their amplifier relay protection.  This is causing
many edits of the log during the contest. Unfortunately,
even though I can make the log entry window font pretty large,
the font in the editing window is not nearly so large, so it
is often a guess as to whether I made the callsign closer or 
farther from the correct one!
