Comments:

I’ve been pretty clear about my dislike for Sweepstakes ( why? i spent about
the first 15 years of my ham career active in traffic handling on NTS - this
should be like old home week!) but I’m still drawn back into it. I guess old
habits never die…:-)

This year was typical, although I used more bands than last year (don’t get
excited - it added 21 more QSOs and zero sections).
As usual, the quest is for a Clean Sweep, 83 sections, but I fell short again,
ending up with 80. RI and WY, where were you? (I heard KH6AQ searching and
pouncing, but I couldn’t find a place to call CQ where he heard me.)

In the end, it was fun, but I ran out of steam at the end. I quit at 2130Z (this
OF just can’t hold up like he used to). Nevertheless, I beat last year, and I
can look forward to another quest next year for that Clean Sweep.
