Club: Big Sky Contesters

Comments:

Missed most all of Saturday helping W7XT and K0SN raise up a new hex beam for
XT. As with all SSB contests, the relentless cacophony of head banging noise
makes it difficult to put in a serious effort, so just did part time to help the
Big Sky Club score.  Condx were very good out here on all bands, reminiscent of
much higher solar activity of years gone by. Bands were filled with lots of loud
sigs, even 15m. Nice to have the new HB 13 ele tribander perform well.
Disappointing to miss QC and NNY for the sweep but fun to work so many CWOps who
for some unknown reason dug up a microphone for this almost ancient ritual.
