Comments:

Excellent conditions on 80m. VE9AA was first worked with S-7 signal.  
Should have 40m antenna problem fixed soon; had to move one end of antenna when
tree was removed. It's a DE Zepp on 40m and from EZ-NEC, looks as if I'm 8-12 dB
down on East coast.
