Comments:

Friday night and Saturday were not particularly enjoyable and I was not looking
forward to continuing. However, 20 came alive early on Sunday and 40 was very
good Sunday afternoon with decent southern EU QSOs to be had on both bands.
Stations in northern EU were difficult to work although a tiny bit easier
Sunday. The normally  easy to work KH/VK/ZL stations were nearly impossible for
me the whole weekend. JAs were basically missing except for one or two big guns.
On Sunday there were a large number of VEs to be worked which was very much
appreciated. I could not tune the long-wire on 80 at all and 160 was very
marginal which hurt badly. There was a huge amount of activity on both bands but
I worked only the very strongest stations for mults. I was going to run
unassisted but the difficulty experienced Friday night talked me out of that.
Overall I am pleased with the result but I'd much rather operate from my Kenora,
ON, QTH and have all the US stations come to me. :>)
