Comments:

40M was acting squirrely on the HF9V, so went 80M only.   Strange condx.   Band
was pretty much static free, but lots of QSB, plus I didn't seem to be getting
out too well.  Tried "diversity" mode on the FLEX for the first 10
minutes, and determined it's not what to use for running!   Thanks to all for
the QSO's
