Comments:
Wow, what a contest!!
This week-end we could testify that the CQWW Contest is still a classic and Ham
radio hobby is still alive.
Bands behaviour:
-10 m. nice opening second day to Europe, some Asia too.
-15 m. was also nice.
-20 m. full band both days, difficult find free place.
-40 m. full both both days, no free space, the band is getting smaller, IARU
Region 1 needs to negotiate with ITU to enlarge band like in Region 2.
-80 meters nice signals from US.
-160 difficult to works NA.
This was my best contest, single operator 1 radio effort, since I become Ham
Radio in 1982, it couldn’t be possible without the continues improvements done
by Filipe, CT1ILT.
Even with his illness, since November last year, Filipe continues to develop
hardware and software and send to CT to make the stress tests in-place of CR6K
& CR5E station .
My special thanks go to my wife Celeste, to help me, every time before and after
the contests deploying the radials for antennas, and all he dedicated support.
(Obrigado Celeste).
But I Specially dedicate this contest participation to you Filipe, hope you will
recover very fast, thank you for all your support to our small but efficient
station. We Miss you, SON.
73, from José, CT1CJJ, and team,
CT Celeste & Filipe, CT1ILT aka CR6K/CR5E
