Comments:
Well that was tough, very tough.
was close to throwing in the towel after the first half of day 1, the bands were
rough to start. Thanks to the sun for taking a dump on us.
I was at home for this one, actually quite glad i was, if i was to have gone to
the contest QTH and set everything up to struggle in day 1 then i would have
packed in.
I damaged my knee a few weeks back so couldnt set nothing up there.
If it wasnt for the recently new Hexbeam at home this would have been a
nightmare with just wires.
20m closed down extremely early on day 1 and NA were almost non existent and
mults were very hard to come by.
Day 2 was much better, still a long way of being normal, but it was nice to
actually see NA and some Asia Mults on the screen.
A small spotlight opening on 15 a few times during Sunday provided some needed
additional mults.
Thanks to the malicious comments spotter on Sunday while i was trying to run on
20m, you actually helped my run by alerting people of my presence there.
All in all it was fun, glad i didnt give up.
Finished early as have work tomorrow early.
Thanks for the fun.
Cu soon.
