Comments:

I was really glad just to be in this first event of the contest season after a
power surge disabled both station PCs, Flex 6700, cable modems and MK2 device.
Fortunately Icom 7700 and PW were spared as well as iMacs plugged into the same
strip.

I ordered a new Icom 7610 and PS from DX Engineering and a tricked out Cyber
Power PC which arrived a day ahead of the contest. Got everything running, (sort
of) minus the sound card 
configuration on the replacement PC. 

I used the 7610's decorder and FSK RTTY encoder. It worked beautifully! Lots to
like on the 7610. Its still a steep learning curve. 4-6 weeks of out of warranty
repairs on the Flex 6700. :(  Could use some help on setting up digital modes if
anyone can help flatten the learning curve. Please contact me offline.
