Comments:

Congratulations to all the Florida stations and the Florida Contest Group for
another fun QSO party. The "virtual mobiles" idea and the LOVE BUG
spelling bee surely helped keep the interest up. In the same spirit of
innovation, our local club, the Tennessee valley DX Association, decided to do a
multi-op, but not the normal type which is disallowed this year. We did a
"distributed" multi-op. Four members, each operating from our home
stations and using the N1MM Logger+ software, had our logging computers networked
via the internet. this allowed a common, visible log and each of us could see
where the other stations were operating to avoid having two stations on the same
band/mode. This new way of doing a multi-op only added to the interest and fun
of the QSO chase.
>From the Chattanooga area our skip zone on 20m is right across central Florida.
Anything north of that is virtually ESP copy. So that makes this party almost a
40m single band affair. We were fortunate that late Sunday afternoon, 20m opened
for a period of good short skip. 40m even became more active then, too.
We hope everyone is keeping safe and that next year we can resume chasing real
mobiles around the state.

>From the TVDXA team, all the best,
Ted W4NZ, Gary K4VIG, Ken K3JWI, Bill W4XK
