Comments:

I haven't operated WAE from North Carolina in many years, choosing instead to
operate as K1IMI in coastal Maine. Boy, conditions there are certainly
different...differing in climate and propagation! I've become unaccustomed to
the daily afternoon thunderstorms and the attendant QRN. I'm really eager to
resume my summertime activities from Maine!!!

I can't say enough about how impressed I am with working so many European
stations that really "slugged it out" to complete the QSO. The QSB was
there all weekend, morning, noon, and night; stations would come up out of the
noise then disappear, only to pop up seconds later...it made getting calls and
numbers a real challenge!

Despite the pain, it was a fun weekend; thanks DARC for sponsoring this event.
