No laughing matter.  :-)
Nine or ten contacts into this run I felt something land on my head.  When I
brushed the thing off, I felt a sharp pain in my finger.  The critter, a yellow
jacket or some kind of small wasp was on the floor.  I stomped it into oblivion.
 I made a couple or three more contacts before my whole hand was throbbing and
pain was already past my wrist going up my arm.  I ran to the kitchen, duped
some ice  cubes in a bowl and soaked my now purple finger until there was only a
couple of minutes left in the hour.  I came back to the shack and made two more
contacts before the bell.  The purple has gone away but the stung finger is
swelled to two times normal and I can't bend it.
