I wanted to try an alternate hilltop to test for QRN, but someone was parked at
the spot I needed, so I'll try again next year. At least I didn't hear much QRN
on the loop before turning around and heading for the second hilltop (which I
already know has QRN on 6m). I got the 5-el rover Yagi set up at 22 feet above
ground a half hour into the event. One CW contact and all the rest were SSB. No
contacts in the final hour. Best DX 248 mi / 398 km to Dave K1WHS FN43 in the
state of Maine.
