Comments:

Propagation here seemed to dictate that more than 100W was needed to get heard. 
Can't recall ever spending so much time in a contest unable to make a contact. 
N1MM only reported 2.5 hrs, but actual was 5+. After that decided I had other
things to do. Thanks to all who pulled out my weak signal!
