Comments:

What a great contest. I had zero plans to operate this year. I got on to play
around a bit on Friday night and used assistance to basically search for
multipliers. I did work some new band countries on 80. Same with Saturday -
nothing serious and more S&P to just collect multipliers but passed over
many Q's. I got up early Sunday to see what was on 160 and 80 and ended up
working my way to the high bands and established a very good run on 20. That's
when the fun really started. This contest is so cool because you're not
competing with other countries - everyone calls NA. DX WANTS to work us. This
was really good pileup practice! 

Conditions on the low bands weren't as good as CQ160 but Europe was coming in
very well even though my log doesn't reflect that - I was just searching for
multipliers. 

My best score in this contest was from TO8T in 2019, but from home my best score
was in 2016 when I ran SOLP assisted. This time I ran the amp but didn't really
participate to beat a previous score. I came close though - without really
trying. I didn't think my station lent itself to DX contests but I sure had a
great time.
