Comments:

Low band conditions were very good this year, similar to last year.  The big
difference was a mediocre 15 on Saturday, and a surprisingly long 10 meter
opening on Sunday. Ended up with about 70 fewer Q's than last year, but many
more 10 meter mults.

Never really had any great hours.  The pre-noon daylight hours were especially
slow, but the rest of the contest was steady with an occasional burst of
activity.

Station was working great when the Solid State amp on the Right radio failed at
about 23Z on Saturday.  Swapped in an identical spare, which was working, but
something did not seem right with it.  Went to an AL1200 as the next spare.  It
ran for 12 hours and lost a power supply filter cap.  Finished the contest with
a TL922.  Still had one more spare, but it had not been used in years.  The
other radio/amp luckily was fine.

join me this trip
