Comments:

USA-condx were very damped on 14 MHz except for N3DXX 
a quarter past the start of CWT. It took me 20 minutes 
to hear the next Stateside signal. This time I could not 
get to at least half of the high scoring Top. Attenuation! 
... European signals varied also very much, jumping in/out. 
Some troubles with the roller tuner. Maybe I should look 
for a resonant antenna solution, preferably with some gain.
