I am surprised how well a 17 foot whip and a huge coil is working on 160 meters.
I was able to work a half dozen EU countries with it.

K3, KPA500 amp, temporary 17 foot whip and huge coil on top of an all metal
ladder with another huge coil as a counterpoise.
