Comments:

FTDX-101MP,IC-9700, Modified SB-220 for 6 meters,4 element quad at 40 feet on 6
meters, 5 element yagi at 40 feet on 2 meters. I modified my SB-220 for 6 meters
and got it running a week before the contest. I ran it on FT8 at 500 watts. I
noticed I worked more of the weak signals than when I ran 100 watts. Conditions
were much poorer than the ARRL June contest on 6 meters. I had one short opening
to the northeast and changed from FT8 to SSB. Even that opening was short.
