Comments:

Every contest has its unique challenges and this one was no exception.  Despite
wide spread openings and a high grid count, signals were weaker than in June and
the QSO volume was much lower.  Stations to the south of me took advantage of
better sporadic E reflection geometry and had much higher QSO totals.

WSJT was the predominate mode in this contest due to the weaker signals and
accounted for 67% of all QSOs.  I had a dozen FT4 QSOs and was disappointed that
more stations were not using this mode especially since it is so much more
productive than FT8. The use of the mode should improve over time as more
stations become familiar with its advantages in a contest.
