Comments:

I wasn’t sure that I was going to make this field day, which if I had missed
would’ve been the first in over 40 years. I just moved from San Diego to
Missouri and was able to get up a dipole for 40 m and 80 m. My radios are in a
shed about 100 feet away from the house.  I have no Internet and it’s over
100° in the daytime. Plus my children from all points flew in to join us for
the week of July 4 here on the lake. So my operating time was after 11 o’clock
Saturday for a couple of hours and an hour or so on early Sunday morning and
then the rest of the activities took precedence. But band conditions were quite
good.  I had computer issues regarding RFI, no Internet, computer lock ups and a
few operating errors as well. Thanks for the QSOs and thanks to a ARRL for this
very special field day effort.  73
