Comments:

That was FUN!!

I did miss the traditional socializing normally done with field day, however I
have to say I did not miss the heat, sunburn and tired feeling that rolls around
Sunday afternoon, right before you have to start the tear-down.

I operated SSB because I was addicted to the rate!!  I planned to run high power
but the rates were so good with low power that I stayed in that category.  The
first hour of on 20 meters was more like a Caribbean pileup than working field
day; it was obvious that the number of active stations was increased to to
EVERYONE being workable for points.  I would be willing to say the majority of
my QSOs were "Delta" entries.  I was still surprised how many people
were setting up in the fields.

It was a fun event and great warmup for the 13 colony event starting this week.
