Comments:

Score includes 100 points for copying the ARRL FD message. Thanks to ARRL for
the special rules for this year. Lot more activity from 1D stations. And less
from field stations, no doubt due to Covid-19. Local club was in Field as W4CVY
and I stayed home for FD for the first time since a week end during ROIC summer
camp when I operated little and caught up on sleep a lot. Was able to run from
home much better than I usually can from the field, despite one of my antennas
being identical to our usual FD antenna for all bands, an 88' center fed zepp.
80 through 10 were in good shape. A little QRN on 80M, but not bad. I intended
to go to 160M if anyone was on there for FD, but listened a few times and didn't
hear anyone. 6M was a big disappointment here. A TX beacon was in strong here
every time I listened to the band, but got almost no answers to CQs on CW and
worked only the two stations that I heard on my favorite summer band. Biggest
surprise was being called by SM2CEW on 15M at about 1630Z Sunday. He and F6HKA
on 40M were the only two DX stations worked. Worked KP4, no KP2, KH6, KL7. All
VEs but VE6 and the far north ones and NL. Think I worked all 48 contiguous
states. Score to be submitted to add to the W4CVY Columbus ARC score from the
field. Stayed safe at home and didn't have to wear a mask at all during the
contest, but did miss the fellowship. Got more sleep than usual. Thanks for
all QSOs. If anyone wants a QSL, just send me yours. 73, John, K4BAI.
