Score does not include 150 bonus points... submitted claimed score will be
1,336.

Wow... 100 watts and a wire portable as 1B SF from the California wine country.
I was not expecting to spend so much time on 20 phone but I had a max 60 minute
rate of 89 per hour. I had no idea that kind of rate was even possible with a
G5RV in a Eucalyptus tree. I was trying to eat some pizza for lunch and had to
apologize to several stations that 'caught me eating' because I literally could
not get a bite in between the Qs.

Normally I am part of the West Valley ARA M/M QRP team effort in Los Altos, CA.
This year we were all on our own and it was great fun to have the ability to
switch to any band and mode at any time. I was determined NOT to make this an
FT4/FT8 effort so spent most of the time on PSK31 when operating digital even if
that cost me some rate/points. I was surprised at the lack of RTTY stations
during FD.

I also never knew there were so many stations in WWA and BC. It was great to
hear from so many fellow west-coasters so thanks for the Qs! Also, KH6 (PAC)
and KL7 (AK) were well represented.

I hope everyone had fun!
73, Mark W6IA
