Comments:

Was up at the cottage for a few days.  Threw up a portable vertical whip antenna
( testing for portable use) and laid a few radials on top of the snow and ice. 
Got a match and it seemed to work but it is a compromise antenna to be sure.
Decided to run on band due to time constraints and I was just too lazy to go and
rematch the antenna for different bands.  In the end just wanted to do some
testing and work a few stations.
