Comments:

As I never operate the allowable 24 hours, I set my goal at 1000 QS and also a
sweep. Well, this year I made the Q count but not the sweep. I was using the
on-line score reporting and noticed that, at that time, all of those with 84
mults were from central and western US. My mistake was spending too much time
calling CQ on 15 meters, assuming NT was worked there. Yes, I spent several
hours Sunday calling CQ on 20, but kept switching between 15 and 20. DUMB!

I also read a few comments about the high quantity of signals with KEY CLICKS
and I absolutely must agree! It is simple - key clicks should not happen. Many
manufacturers have adjustable keying parameters that can be changed - to click
or not to click. In other cases the amps may be coming in too fast. No matter
the cause - fellow hams, please tell your friends if they have clicks and
encourage them to take appropriate action. The bands are more crowded now which
is a GOOD THING. There would be more room for us to get closer if the signals
were better. We may need to be 6 feet apart but not 6khz apart!

Thanks for the repeats and the Qs and helping me make one of my goals!

73,
Bruce N1LN
