Comments:

This was never to be a full time weekend as I can’t stay motivated for the
entire time as a single op. Really miss the Multi-two days, but for my station,
since the radical downsizing and simplification, they are over. So, I decided to
set lower goals and have fun. Due to the excellent band conditions those goals
kept moving up. I do miss the single band stacks but overall everything worked
fine and I was pleased with the station performance in the pile-ups for the rare
mults. I never spent much time on 160, so that will wait for next weekend and
the ARRL 160 CW. I also checked the SO2R box in the entry, but only made about
50 Qs on the second radio. It was used more to work mults and to see if the
other bands were open rather than for Qs.

I once again had a few issues with N1MM+ and the YCCC SO2R box. Something locked
up several times with error messages in the SO2R application window. The
computer just locked and I could not get either keyboard to respond until what
appeared to be something just timed out and released. I actually logged a couple
Qs on paper and then put them in the log when control returned. Fortunately, the
time stamps will not be off by more than 30 to 45 seconds. Also had the problem
return for logging mults correctly. For the first few hours zones 39 and 40 did
not show in the mult window and I had to rescore to get them there. Then, when
another zone 40 mult was worked on a different band, again I had to rescore to
get it to show. So, there are still gremlins in the SW. Not sure if my locking
issue is related.

Other than that, all equipment worked well and was up to the challenge better
than the op!

Thanks for the Qs and the HOURS of fun.

73,
Bruce N1LN
