Comments:

What fun!  This was our most ambitious remote multi-multi operation to date. 
Perfect for the greatest contest of the year! 8 ops, 6 of which were remote.  
We have been doing extensive operation and testing during the pandemic, and we
really wanted to get a full operation going as best as possible for cqww cw! 
All in all, it worked out rather well.

Conditions:  The sun has woken!  to the effect of making 15m a viable run band,
and some 10m normalcy being teased by mother nature.  With the sun yawning after
wakeup, it affected 80m to some extent, making things more of a challenge there
that was picked up this year by the greatly improved 15m band.

Station team and remote:
We had a great team of CW operators-
Ken N6RO and Bob K3EST were on site, 
Chris N6WM Steve K6AW Mike WA6O Matt WX5S Denis K7GK Michael NT6V were all
remote from their home bubbles.

We maintained our coordination and camaraderie via our slack channel.  we kept 1
channel for contest only traffic, and another for general discussion.
This is a tech savvy team, and a great group of cw lovers.  planning is done via
a weekly zoom meeting, that often includes an extra presentation from K3EST on
various amateur related subjects.

Remotes
2 X Flex 6600-M/PGXL combination remote positions with RRC for paddle/audio
3 X K3 Twin stations with various amplifiers (ACOM/ALPHA/AL-1200's etc) most
were fixed in band, 1 automated.  those that were not automated were tuned by
the in shack op.  
We staggered the remote ops to support 3 at a time, with a short period overlap
of 4 which worked but is pushing it.

The break down of the operation:
10m:  K6AW/K3EST shared - We have some action!  22 zones, 35 countries.. JAs in
the log.. a hint of things to come and good years ahead. the guys really pushed
through to get as much productive qsos in the log as possible.

15M:
N6WM 0000 SAT to band dead ~0200 sun
WD6T Band open Sun to contest end
Something to talk about hear, 96 countries, 32 zones.  we have a band again. 
N6WM and WD6T both able to run EU on their respective op days.  JA was present
and plentiful and provided good log volume.  N6WM able to log 30 zones and great
mults on first Day of operation and keep pace with the 20m station, Dave was
able to pick up a few needed mults including the 7Q during his shift.  15 was
awesome.. welcome back!

20M: K3EST/K6AW
a couple of our most senior BIC specialists drained the band of all that could
be worked from our QTH.  a solid DXCC Worked there on that band, over 1000 qsos.
 these guys are our among our IRON MAN Operators.  

40M: WA6O primary with WD6T and last hour by N6WM 
WD6T started the first 6 hours of 40, managing to get half a dxcc and half a
waz. When WA6O started he went right to work, producing the top qso band total
in the station in 2 sessions.  N6WM jumped on at 22:30 sun and was able to pick
of a zone mult and several EU stations in our broad daylight.  

80M: K7GK/WX5S shared.  K7GK was the expert to have on deck during EU openings. 
He battle valiantly with a frustrating band but was able to successfully log EU
and others.  WX5S checks in at early morning, and battled through tough
conditions to get what asia pac could be got.  This was good discipline good
ears and BIC by cw pros.

160M:NT6V/N6RO shared. most chair by NT6V.  Ken was quite pleased to by called
by a china station on 160..  Like the 80m station, our 160 operation also
required a great deal of discipline and expert operating. This was NT6Vs first
real go from the 160 4sq, and he and Ken dutifully managed 24 zones and 34
countries despite an active sun messing with low bands.  good ears and good
operating.

Id like to share my admiration for all of the operators on this team, Including
having K7GK and NT6V into the fold as we fine tune and increase our remote
operation capability. it is a humble honor to have this group of seasoned amd
expert cw operators operating under my call. also as always we thank RO team
members bill W9KKN and Gary NA6O for their technical assistance..    

I know I can speak for the entire team to offer special thanks to Ken N6RO for
his support, patience with all the remote technology, wisdom shared with the
team, and the opportunity to once again have the honor to drive the powerful
Radio Oakley contest station, and produce the biggest sigs from Zone 3!
