Comments:
It was a lot of fun be back after 5 years last activity in CQ WW CW.
I was not sure about my being this weekend, I made a final choice a 4 hours
before start. On contest QTH arrived at 11PM, 2 hours to go. First I started to
complete my radio arrangment, everything looked fine, on air was with 1 hour
delay.
First night I have been mostly in S/P mode, took a nap very early, a day before
I had bussy day along a lot of hours of driving from my job to home.
On Saturday afternoon the prop to JA was pretty early after on lunch, I made a
suprisingly a lot of BY's. So cool to work also W7 by LP.
Sunday night was much better in QSO's to NA then on Saturday, the A index went
up..My hearing sometimes was truly like be in can.
Despite the very slowly increasing prop, the rates and QSO's are an excelllent.
Mr. Murphy came two times during the competition, On Sunday my PC went down, I
had to open a cover and replug the RAM memories, this difficulties was so
frustrating. On Sunday afteernon my PA went off, I tried to figure it out, but
could not explore the fault. Last 10 hours was operating on homebrew PA.
Last night got an Amazing NA Pile up's, unfortunely could not log in more
QSO's.
It Was fun to logging the records with yagi beaming to NA with signals going
from JA at the same time.
The signals been influented with high level of noise.
Thank you so much for this exicitement, it was very nice but cold outside
weekend. Wishing all Happy Xmax holiday and NHY.
Using setup
IC 7700 + PA OM POWER / HM
Antenna 3el Yagi 24m up
The keying was used by Microham.
73's.
