Comments:

I realized in the last 5 min that I had been trying to transmit with my tuner
set to an output which was empty--essentially using it as a dummy load.  It sure
does work better when I use the antenna, haha. Still got one contact with that
setup though.  I'll make sure not to make that mistake again:-)
