Comments:

Woke up at 0333Z. Two minutes to heat up 
my own filaments. Europe was pretty awake. 
On 7 MHz USA was weak with fast flutter, 
so with the permanent QRN it was hard to
pick out calls. Decoded some but did not 
work anyone Stateside. On 3.5 MHz I kept the  
7 MHz tuner settings and forced SWR 1 : 1 
with the FT-990 internal tuner for LP only 
(linear bypassed), to work the few audible 
over the horrific industrial QRN.
