Comments:

Called CQ SAC on 10 meters for a while several times between 17-19 Z, as
suggested by VOACAP. Used 1 kW and 6 over 6 monoband stack - no answers and
nothing heard...

The two main challenges here in deep South West were:
1) difficult to get thru when Scandinavians were beaming to NA.
2) difficult to penetrate the heavy EU pileup. Calling just PY PY PY
sometimes helped !

Contrary to the criticism, I agree with the new rules allowing use of cluster
and RBN. More fair play, less cheating. We - the old guys - have to step up to
the New World...

The 000 serial is an important improvement. 

Please do NOT change to the everyone-works-everyone concept!
That has periodically been suggested even for SAC.
There are already too many small contests using that lousy system
where people change serial nr. etc. not knowing what is actually going on.

SAC is fine "as is"  because: 

1)it is the only opportunity allowing GOOD pileup training to the small
OH-SM-LA-OZ pistols who seldom get answers to their ordinary CQ calls. 

2) Reduced overall noise and less anger among the non-contesters. 
That is: Better overall imago for SAC.
